Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is not taking any L’s this year. Despite going out like a G before the finale of Power, Jackson will remain apart of the project except he will have a bigger role as director in the upcoming season. Not only that but he’s been working on quite a few shows. The grind doesn’t stop for the rap veteran as he just inked a new deal with Starz that will include a three series comitment through G-Unit Film & Television. The contract comes with a $150 million budget.
Jackson expressed his enthusiasm to be working with the network yet again for another long term deal.
“When I sat down with Chris [Albrecht, Starz CEO] and walked him through my plans for G-Unit Film & TV going forward, he let me know I was essentially requesting the biggest deal in premium cable history. I am excited to announce that we’ve made that partnership between myself, G-Unit Film & Television and Starz/Lionsgate and we will continue our proven track record of breaking records and delivering unique content for audiences around the world… Get The Strap.”
