Amazon kicked off it’s Prime Day yesterday at 3 pm. The first few minutes of big deals and promotions went through a rocky start with customers unable to access the website because of technical problems and crashes.
When the website crashed, customers would a page that stated ‘Sorry Something Went Wrong On Our End. Please Go Back And Try Again Or Go To The Amazon Prime Day Homepage’ and accompanied with a picture of a dog.
This had people wondering why a crash page would have a pictures of dogs with those exact words paired together. It’s a question the world may never know. Besides these crashes, the ratings and sales went up compared to last years Prime Day
According to the e-commerce, the 2018 Prime Day was bigger than ever. According the Amazon, the first 10 hours of the day, the company sold more Prime Day deals and products than last years event.
