The Avengers originally consisted of only six superheroes, Avengers: Age of Ultron added four more, now with Avengers: Infinity War comes a whole force of superhoes with more than both movies had combined.
The OG Avengers were Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, who defeated Loki during the Chitauri invasion. Age of Ultron welcomed another four, adding Vision, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and War Machine as they defeated the andriods trying to take over Sokovia. Not only will the much-anticipated Infinity War include the ten warriors but they will be joined by Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Bucky, Black Panther, Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Mantis, Rocket and Groot. Mind you, we didn’t even count their allies yet which include Ant-Man, Nebula, Wong, M’Baku, Okoye and Shuri. There’s a question as to whether or not Loki will finally change his envious ways and fight alongside his brother.
Fans have been arguing back and forth as to whether or not we should officially count all of the superhero appearances as Avengers but remember in Age of Ultron where Hawkeye said,
“Doesn’t matter what you did, or what you were. If you go out there, you fight, and you fight to kill. Stay in here, you’re good… but if you step out that door, you are an Avenger.”
Avengers: Infinity War releases in theaters everywhere April 27th.
