More and more women have been getting casted for some key roles and it’s a beautiful thing to see. Jordan Peele just added DeWanda Wise and Jessica Williams to his roster of actors for his Twilight Zone series. The reboot will also feature Lucinda Dryzek, Jefferson White, and Jonathan Whiteshell.
The series is produced by CTS Television Studios and Monkeypaw Productions. The executive producers include of course Peele himself along with Simon Kinberg and Marco Ramirez. The trio will collaborate and curate a premiere episode to kick off the season. Alongside the board is Win Rosefield and Audrey Chon.
Stephen Spielberg brought The Twilight Zone back to life in 1983. The film had multiple directors including Spielberg himself with John Landis, Joe Dante and George Miller. It’s been revived at least three times ever since it first aired on CBS from 1595 to 1964 thanks to Rod Sterling. The original takes you to another dimension, described as “the godfather of sci-fi series, the show explored humanity’s hopes, despairs, prides and prejudices in metaphoric ways conventional drama could not.”
