Kodak Black’s Lil Wayne Diss Forces Change of Venue2 months ago by Amber Le in Trending
Dissing a legend has consequences, especially when Lil Wayne is the one you’re calling out in New Orleans. Kodak Black made the mistake of shouting out that Weezy F Baby “should have died as a baby” on video and is now dealing with security and venue issues. The rapper has been forced to move his concert to another spot.
The original location, The Mahalia Jackson Theater had concerns over Black’s comments and acknowledged that it would be a safety hazard to hold the concert there. In the city of NOLA, Wayne is not an artist you want to disrespect. Now the “Tunnel Vision” rapper will be performing at the House of Blues instead.
Black updated his followers regarding the situation via Instagram.
“New Orleans, Louisiana, to all my fans or whatever you wanna call it, I will be at the House of Blues instead of the Mahalia Jackson Theater and stuff. You know, they really wanted to shut my show down and stuff like that but, you know, I wasn’t going for it. I’m like, ‘Nah, man. I need to do this show because these people over there wanna see me.’ They need to see me because I wanna see them too.”
