Besides being an NBA superstar, LeBron James likes to dabble in the filmmaking industry as well. He’s produced shows like The Shop and has already made his mark as a media mogul. Now, he’s taking on another project. SpringHill Entertainment is teaming up with Veritgo Entertainment for a reboot of Friday the 13th.
According to VIBE, Victor Miller, who penned the screenplay for the original Friday the 13th, recently regained the rights. With Veritgo and Springhill’s first look deals. Warner Bros is expected to release the film as they were the studio to release the 2009 installment of the franchise. The upcoming project doesn’t have a writer or director attached to it as of yet.
