Michael B. Jordan Talks Deontay Wilder for “Creed III”3 months ago by Amber Le in Movie News
Creed II has been the talk of the box office since it’s release during Thanksgiving weekend. The sequel is currently still making headlines but this time, with talks of a potential Creed III with Deontay Wilder. The WBC World Heavyweight champion holds a professional record of 40-0-1 with 39 knockouts. Michael B. Jordan supports the notion and voiced that he would love to see him in the next installment of the franchise.
In the last movie, Adonis Johnson took on a battle in honor of his father’s name, agreeing to fight against Ivan Drago’s son, who was played by pro boxer, Florian Munteanu. With that being said, it’s not too far off that Wilder could make a special guest appearance. A plot that has been circulating is the fight between Johnson and the son of Clubber Lang, Rocky Balboa’s opponent in Rocky III.
Jordan is supportive of the possibility and emphasizes on it while speaking to TMZ.
“It’s a cool idea. Wilder is a good character as himself. That’s one of the great things about Rocky films and Creed films. We try to bring real boxers into it at some point. So, you never know.”
