MTV To Re-Air “Mac Miller & the Most Dope Family” Episodes To Pay Tribute2 weeks ago by Amber Le in TV News
The industry’s loss of Mac Miller is a hard one to accept. In honor of his life, MTV will be re-airing episodes of Mac Miller & the Most Dope Family. The music channel will be paying their own tribute to the Pittsburg rapper by doing so in the near future.
The show had 2 seasons running from 2012 – 2014, following his journey to Los Angeles as he curated content for his upcoming album at the time. Artists such as Schoolboy Q, Macklemore and Ab-Soul made appearances on the series.
There’s no official date as to when the episodes will air but that’s not the only way they will be celebrating his legacy. According to The Blast, the network has already been collecting archival footage of Miller to pay homage.
In addition, the mayor of Pittsburgh, Bill Peduto will be re-naming Blue Slide Park in honor of Mac as long as the rest of the community does not reject the notion.
