New ‘Christopher Robin’ Trailer Offers Closer Look at Disney’s Updated Take On Pooh1 month ago by Kristin Paradisis in Movie News, FILMS
Disney has released a new trailer for the upcoming film Christopher Robin. Actor Ewan McGregor portrays a grown-up Christopher Robin as he is haunted by the traumas that he experienced during World War II. His life is thrown for a loop when his childhood playmates from Hundred Acre Wood find him once again. Marc Foster (filmmaker of World War Z and Finding Neverland) directs the film with a script written by Alex Ross Perry and Allison Schroeder.
The brand new trailer highlights the charming and light-hearted comedy of the film. It is clear that the plot will allow plenty of room for Winnie the Pooh to take part in physical comedy as he takes on the real world alongside Christopher Robin. McGregor also appears to make a perfect partner for the CG creation of Pooh.
The new film is not a traditional live-action remake and so, it will be interesting to see how audiences respond to Christopher Robin. The film is set for release on August 3rd and the new trailer reveals tickets are now on sale. Be sure to check out the trailer below!
