Nicki Minaj Calls Out Travis Scott On “Queen Radio”1 month ago by Amber Le in Trending
The MTV Video Music Awards were held last night in New York City and there was a little bit of tension that surrounded the evening. Nicki Minaj took to social media to call out Billboard for including Travis Scott’s merch in his album sales but did not allow any other artist the same privilege, including herself. Astroworld still sits at the number one spot while Queen remains at number two. Having the top spot in 86 countries but she’s still not satisfied.
The “Chun Li” rapper won Best Hip Hop Award last night although some drama almost went down. When the seating chart was leaked to the public, Scott and Kylie Jenner were supposed to be sitting behind Minaj and Ariana Grande. They changed their seats to the other side of the venue with a sprinkle of shade to say they requested new placements because the number one album rapper should not be seated behind number two.
Minaj then took to Queen Radio to vent her frustrations and crowned Scott the “Hoe N*gga Of The Week.” Yikes. Her reasoning was that he admitted he shouldn’t still be the best selling album on Billboard and accused him of inflating his album sales by selling merch bundles and tour passes, thrown in along with some Jenner fans’ support.
“What we’re not gonna do is have that Auto-Tune man selling f*cking sweaters telling you he sold half a million albums, because he f*cking didn’t. You stupid f*ck. You got your f*cking homeboy talking for you and you got your girlfriend selling tour passes. Stop it. Knock it the f*ck off… When Travis comes along and sells a tour pass that has nothing to do with his f*cking music and says he’s sold more than Kanye West & Nas – no you f*cking didn’t, keep it the f*ck real. I know I’m that b*tch. I know I’m number 1.”
