During a Pokemon press conference in Tokyo, The Pokemon Company International and Nintendo announced three new ways to play Pokemon for Nintendo Switch; Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu, Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee, and Pokemon Quest. Pokemon is broadening its scope with a new RPG series, which will be released in late 2019 on Nintendo Switch.
Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee both offer players to train with either Pikachu or Eevee, on their journey to becoming a pokemon master. These two new games offer the same gameplay as the top app, Pokemon GO, which let the player throw Poke Balls to catch Pokemon. These games teamed up with GAME FREAK, who were the original creators and developers of the Pokemon video game franchise. The Pokemon Go Plus and The Poke Ball Plus act as controllers to these games on the Nintendo Switch.
“With the launch of Pokémon GO in 2016 and the global sensation that ensued, millions of new players were introduced to the world of Pokémon,” said Junichi Masuda, director at GAME FREAK inc. “For many people, Pokémon GO was their first experience with the Pokémon brand, so we have crafted these two new titles to be an accessible entry point to our core RPG series while giving our longtime fans a new way to play Pokémon.”
Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee will be released on November 16th 2018 on the Nintendo Switch.
