Nipsey Hussle Planned A Meeting with Roc Nation To End Gang Violence3 weeks ago by Amber Le in Trending
Hip Hop is truly in pain as we mourn the loss of a king. Nipsey Hussle was fatally shot outside of his Los Angeles store. Grammy nominated rapper, born Ermias Asghedom was only 33 when he passed away. He was 1 of 3 who were in critical condition. As we grieve, many are hurting as fans post up RIP messages and shared how Hussle impacted and influenced their lives and the culture as a whole. Our hearts are heavy.
It’s not sitting right in any of our spirits the news we received on Sunday, March 31. 5 shots to the body and 1 to the head has the culture raising our eyebrows as to what really went down. Conspiracy theories are flying around and there’s been disagreements regarding Hussle’s passing but one thing we can all agree on is he was a great man and this is truly a loss for our beloved community.
His work is unfinished and although Nick Cannon stated he will be picking up with the Dr. Sebi documentary where the Victory Lap rapper left off, there’s more to be done. It was confirmed that Hussle was supposed to meet with the LAPD and Roc Nation Monday, April 1 to figure out ways he could end gang violence and continue educating the children.
We (@LAPDChiefMoore and I ) were meeting , at the request of @NipseyHussle with him and @rocnation tomorrow at 4pm to talk about ways he could help stop gang violence and help us help kids. I’m so very sad https://t.co/rcGtvw9c6L
