No Man’s Sky Is Getting A Multiplayer Update1 month ago by Rod McCullough in Games
The No Man’s Sky update titled “NEXT” will be launching for free on all platforms on July 24th. The Xbox One version was specifically noted to be receiving the full online experience although it was not originally released for the console.
In the new update for the game, players will be able to team up with small or large groups of friends or random travelers in multiplayer, teaming up to survive or attacking other players. Players will be able to build bases together in a shared online universe, have aerial dogfights in space, race vehicles, and even build custom racetracks for friends.
No Man’s Sky was announced for Xbox One back in March and will also feature Xbox One X HDR and 4K enhancements.
