Supreme Court Denies Removing Judge From Meek Mill’s Case4 months ago by Amber Le in Trending
Meek Mill has been out here being a rapper, an entertainer and an activist all at the same time. Ever since his prison release, he’s been sitting down and expressing his gratitude and his purpose in interviews. He made an emphasis that this is his main focus at the moment and even music has to take a backseat to his new mission.
Mill’s legal team has continuosly beeing presenting evidence regarding why Judge Genece Brinkley should be removed from the case, the Supreme Court denied the motion.
Although the decision was finalized that Brinkley will stay on Meek’s case, his attorney isn’t giving up that easily.
“We remain hopeful that the overwhelming amount of evidence in this case – and the Philadelphia District Attorney’s backing – will prompt Judge Brinkley to grant Meek a new trial, failing which we will promptly pursue all appellate remedies available to right this terrible injustice.”
The Philadelphia rapper just recently performed at Hot 97’s Summer Jam and tore the stage up with his grand entrance poppin’ wheelies while blaring “Dreams & Nightmares” but that doesn’t mean the fight for justice is on the back burner.
“I have a lot of important people depending on me, I’m not just talking about those public officials. I’m talking about the men going through the exact same thing I’m going through.”
