Megan Thee Stallion wasn’t lying when she called herself the Hot Girl, with her rap career taking off at a fast start she’s not showing signs of slowing down any time soon. Apparently, she isn’t the only one who thinks she’s hot, she is the latest artist to be featured on Apple Music’s #UpNext music documentary series.
The entire film was shot on an iPhone XS, and it’s a short documentary-style film. The film was released on Tuesday, June 2, 2019, it explores a few aspects of who Meg really is and what she is trying to do. The short film gives Megan the chance to speak about the journey she’s taken to get this far with her career. She shares her opinions on the music industry and also expresses her drive and motivation. The tone of the film is uplifting and inspirational for women interested in rap.
This opportunity with Apple Music is just one of Megans’ many endeavors, she’s not shying away from the spotlight instead she’s soaking it all up. With her recent appearances at Hot 97’s Summer Jam as the kickoff to a “Hot Girl Summer,” she is definitely already booked and busy this summer. Megan is scheduled to perform at the Bay areas’ Rolling Loud Music Festival, Philly’s Made In America 2019 and she’s also on tour with artists Meek Mill and Future for their Legendary Night Tour 2019.
