Sources have shared with the Wall Street Journal that Vin Diesel was not happy with co-star Jason Statham getting more hits in than him during a previous fight scene in ‘Fast & Furious’. He even reportedly went on to say that there should be a numerical system to keep track of how many hits each of them were doing.
“Head butts, roundhouse kicks, body slams — they’d all be calculated,” shared the sources, quoting Diesel.
The Producers of the box office hit series shot down the idea reportedly saying it would be to complicated to calculate. Diesel and Statham refused to comment when being contacted by the Wall Street Journal this past Thursday.
The Hollywood actor got into a feud with another co-star, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, back in 2016 during filming. The Rock tried to clean up the dispute with Diesel back then, but couldn’t hide their issues when calling Diesel a “candy a$$” on Instagram.
“Vin and I had a few discussions, including an important face-to-face in my trailer,” Johnson told Rolling Stone. “I came to realize . . . we have a fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach moviemaking and collaborating. It took me some time, but I’m grateful for that clarity. Whether we work together again or not.”
Hopefully there can be a resolution that these A-List actors can make in the near future.
