In her recent Us Weekly cover story, Haddish revealed that movement behind the scenes has accelerated in a big way. “We had a meeting last week. They were saying we [are] gonna start shooting probably next year” she said. According to Haddish, cameras could roll as early as spring 2026, just before summer hits.
With her signature confidence and comedic timing, the actress added, “She ready,” expressing both her excitement and certainty that the sequel will deliver. “I think it’s gonna be great. I think it’s going to be so much fun. Me and the girls were all talking. It was so funny, it was so good,” she said. Bringing back all the ladies. And we’re going to add maybe some new ladies”.
