DESI TRILL Drops “Higher Love” Featuring DJ Khaled, Cardi B, Natania & Subhi From ‘Smurfs’ Movie Soundtrack

DESI TRILL has released “Higher Love,” the first single from the Smurfs movie soundtrack. Featuring DJ KhaledCardi B, Natania, and Subhi, the new single interpolates Belinda Carlisle‘s hit song “Heaven Is a Place on Earth.” The lyrics at hand push listeners to share kindness with others and embrace self-love.  By the same token, “Higher Love” celebrates confidence at the highest degree, motivating people to reach for the stars.

DJ Khaled expressed excitement about being part of this collaboration, thinking back to when he watched the Smurfs as a child. The record producer also shared how psyched he was to be sharing this moment with his children and create a hit with Cardi B, Natania, and Subhi.

“I’m excited to be a part of this iconic collaboration. Growing up I remember always watching the Smurfs. It feels like a full circle moment now having children of my own who watch the Smurfs as well, and I get to be a part of the soundtrack,” DJ Khaled said. “I’m excited to work alongside Cardi B, Natania & Subhi on ‘Higher Love’ for this monumental movie soundtrack. It’s inspiring and looking forward to sharing our music with the world”
