There’s been buzz going around about Doctor Doom’s appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to MyTimeToShineHello, The Fantastic Four: First Steps will reference Doctor Doom. In one scene, world leaders are shown talking about the threat of Galactus. One of the seats at the meeting is empty, but Latveria’s flag appears. Latveria happens to be Doom’s fictional home country.
The rumor also hints that Doom might show up later in Avengers: Doomsday, which is set for release in December 2026.

The upcoming Fantastic Four film stars Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm/The Thing). Ralph Ineson plays Galactus, and Julia Garner plays Shalla-Bal, also known as the Silver Surfer. Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, and Natasha Lyonne also have roles in the film, although their characters haven’t been revealed yet.
The film is set in a retro-futuristic version of the 1960s and follows Marvel’s “First Family” as they face a huge cosmic threat.
