The stars of the new I Know What You Did Last Summer movie have teased that moviegoers should stay through the credits.
At the movie’s recent premiere, original star Jennifer Love Hewitt teased a surprise at the end of it. “Don’t miss the credits,” she hinted. Scott Menzel later confirmed there is a mid-credits scene and called it “legitimately freaking great.”
The story follows five friends who cause a fatal car accident and decide to hide it. A year later, someone who knows their secret starts haunting them. As the murders begin, they realize this has happened before and turn to survivors of the 1997 Southport Massacre for help.
Directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, the film features a fresh cast including Jonah Hauer-King, Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, and more, alongside returning star Jennifer Love Hewitt.
