Netflix officially released the debut date of Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost’s newest sci-fi action crime film, Project Power. The film will premiere on Friday, August 14th, 2020.
Likewise, the streaming service has unveiled that Oscar winner Jamie Foxx and Golden Globe nominee Joseph Gordon–Levitt will be apart of the cast. The two will play as characters who try to take down a drug operation that produces pills that allow others to gain superhuman abilities. Another shocker is that those who take it don’t initially know what power they’ll have.
Project Power will also feature Rodrigo Santoro, Amy Landecker, Machine Gun Kelly, Allen Maldonado, Andrene Ward-Hammond, and Kyanna Simpson. Mattson Tomlin penned the script. Eric Newman and Bryan Unkeless are producing it.
