Netflix is, once again, adding another series to their roster.
Deadline brings word that Toni Collette and Bella Heathcote will be joined by Jessica Barden, Omari Hardwick, David Wenham, and Joe Dempsie for Netflix’s new drama-thriller series titled Pieces of Her. The show is based on Karin Slaughter’s thriller novel of the same name.
Pieces of Her is set in a quiet Georgia town. One day violence lets loose in the town, and other unexpected dilemmas come forth for 30-year-old Andy Oliver (Heathcote) and her mother Laura (Collette). Desperate for answers, Andy embarks on a risky journey across America, drawing her towards the enigmatic heart of her family.
For now, the 8-episode series has no release date, but we are certain that it’ll hit the streaming platform in due time.
