The release date for Michael Jackson’s biopic film has been pushed back for several months. Although Michael has been set to hit big screens on April 18, 2025, since the beginning of the year, Lionsgate has pushed the United States release date to October 3, 2025. Meanwhile, Universal is conducting the overseas release of the film. The pop star’s flick titled Michael will now go against Roofman, which stars Channing Tatum, Kirsten Dunst, and LaKeith Stanfield, to name a few.
Michael is directed by Antoine Fuqua and takes inspiration from a screenplay by John Logan. The movie stars Michael Jackson’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, Colman Domingo, Nia Long, Miles Teller, and more.

Michael Jackson is known as the King of Pop. He’s created an array of hits like “Thriller,” “Dirty Diana,” “Man in the Mirror,” and much more. In 2009, he passed away at the age of 50 due to cardiac arrest.
