A slew of leaked videos from The Devil Wears Prada 2 have surfaced on the internet due to paparazzi and fans. While it’s currently being filmed in New York, bystanders were able to get behind-the-scenes footage of stars Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep in their acting bags. In one video, Hathaway, who plays Andy Sachs in the movie, can be seen running down the street while Streep’s Miranda Prisetly walks up the MET steps. Some clips even capture audio from the upcoming film. This footage, however, has upset the filmmakers behind The Devil Wears Prada 2 as well as the cast. In one video from August 20th, Hathaway and Stanley Tucci were caught telling photographers to relax and step back during a scene in Central Park.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is one of many films that have been overwhelmed by public attention. Over the years, movies like the Blake Lively-starred It Ends With Us stirred chaos during its filming stages in New Jersey. Other action-packed films like Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day have caught the eye of fans alike in the U.K., but instead of shooing them away, the actor’s team invited them to the first shoot day.
Based on the book with the same name, The Devil Wears Prada sees Hathaway’s character Andy Sachs working for Miranda Priestly, a horrid boss and the editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine, Runway, in the first movie. The Devil Wears Prada 2, on the other hand, finds Priestly dealing with the print magazine business plummeting. Her other former assistant, played by Emily Blunt, is now a powerful advertising executive who works with Runway.
