Pirates of the Caribbean 6 has gotten an unexpected update, and it’s very exciting to say the least. According to Comic Book, Margot Robbie might be starring in the upcoming film. While speaking to The Wrap, Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer teased certain details about the movie. Not only did Pirates of the Carribean 6 have numerous scripts, but Jack Sparrow’s role will potentially be replaced by a Barbie actress. This news is uncertain due to rumors of Johnny Depp’s return, given that he played the skilled and daring pirate in all five Pirates of the Carribean movies.

“We had two scripts at one point, and then one kind of dropped out, and we kind of went with the other one,” he said. “[Margot Robbie’s] still involved … [Pirates of the Caribbean veteran Ted Elliott] worked on [the script], and we’ve brought someone else in to fill in the blanks.”
The news about Robbie’s involvement comes after Orlando Bloom expressed his willingness to reenact his role as Will Turner in the sixth flick. The actor said he’d be open to it because he enjoyed the experience.

“Listen, it was a wild and fun experience so, you know, never say never. I have a lot of respect for that experience, and Jerry, and the whole thing,” Bloom continued. “But who knows? I mean, it’s sort of one of those things I really haven’t thought about it, really.”
He added, “I’m happy that I got to be a part of something that feels like it’s standing the test of time, which is cool.”
