Pixar’s Incredibles 3 is moving forward but with a new director. Disney has revealed that Peter Sohn, the visionary behind Elemental and The Good Dinosaur, will be behind the third installment. Brad Bird, the initial director behind The Incredibles franchise, will be involved still, but as a screenwriter. The reasoning behind this stems from being busy with Ray Gunn.
Details about Incredibles 3 remain under wraps. However, the film was officially announced last year alongside a new logo. The franchise kicked off in 2004 and the original film is about a family of undercover superheroes who try to blend into everyday life. The movie was a box office hit, earning over $600 million globally.

The Incredibles 2 arrived in 2018, exploring the family’s efforts to restore public faith in superheroes. That film was an even bigger success, grossing more than $1.2 billion worldwide.

The series has featured voice talent like Craig T. Nelson as Mr. Incredible, Holly Hunter as Elastigirl, Sarah Vowell as Violet, Spencer Fox and Huckleberry Milner as Dash, Samuel L. Jackson as Frozone, and Brad Bird as the fan-favorite Edna Mode.
