Pop Out rapper, Polo G shows no signs of slowing down! Nearly a week after dropping his single, Gang Gang featuring Lil Wayne, the 22-year-old rapper took to social media to announce the release date for his next album. “I got somethin special for you I hope you appreciate it,” the rapper wrote captioning a video with the official release date of his album, Hall of Fame. His third full-length album, Hall of Fame, will be released on June 11 and is available now for pre-save.
Polo G can be seen in the video stating, “My goal for Hall of Fame was just to make sure that I can show my diversity as an artist, for the people to hear something that I ain’t never did before.” This statement echos what the rapper said in an interview with Complex where he stated,
“On the next album, they can expect a star-studded feature list and a lot of versatility. I’ve got a lot of different types of music on it. I’ve got something that somebody from any type or facet of life could pull from on this project. If you don’t like the standard pain, melodic rap, I’ve got something that’s going to turn you up, too. I’ve got all types of sh-t for somebody to f-ck with.”
The young rapper seems like he’s on the fast track to success! Just last month the rapper dropped his Rapstar single topping #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 charts in its first week. Rapstar, “Drew 53.6 million U.S. streams and sold 5,300 downloads in its first week,” making it the rappers first #1 record. Rapstar will also be featured on his upcoming Hall of Fame album. If this is any indication of how his album will do on the charts, then we know it’s headed to the top for sure!
