Prince Adam learns what it truly means to become He-Man in the new Masters of the Universe trailer, which aired during Super Bowl LX. The clip opens in epic fashion, with Skeletor facing off against Adam in his He-Man form, the two battling it out in a hellish underworld.
From there, the trailer shifts gears, showcasing Adam and his comrades as they travel through Eternia, visiting Castle Grayskull, battling a towering robot, and finding the long-lost Power Sword. Idris Elba’s Man-at-Arms also makes an appearance, offering Adam a crucial piece of advice: “Take this sword and it’ll protect them,” he says.
The action continues with flashes of Camila Mendes’ Teela dueling Evil-Lyn, He-Man cutting down monstrous foes, and other adrenaline-pumping moments. The trailer ends in Adam fully embracing his destiny, raising the Power Sword in the air and delivering the iconic line: “I have the power!”
Masters of the Universe is a live-action reboot of the beloved He-Man franchise. The film follows Prince Adam, who is separated from Eternia and raised on Earth, unaware of his true identity. Years later, he discovers the sword that transforms him into He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe, and must return home to stop Skeletor’s plan to conquer Eternia.
