The director behind Captain America: Brave New World recently revealed that Red Hulk, played by Harrison Ford, almost carried a gun in the film. While speaking to JoBlo, Julius Onah said that although The Thing was initially supposed to carry a firearm, they decided not to move forward with the idea.

“There was a point in time, actually, it didn’t make the movie, where Red Hulk, arcing back to publishing, wielded a gun, and it just didn’t feel quite right for the actual movie,” he stated.
Additionally, The Cloverfield Paradox director expressed how surreal it was to shoot the actual scene of Ford’s Red Hulk firing the gun. In the original comics, the Red Hulk uses guns quite frequently, despite having super strength like the Green Hulk. His most notorious weapon is the S.H.I.E.L.D. handgun, which “can injure gamma mutants” similar to Mr. Green.
Anthony Mackie reprises his role as Sam Wilson who has officially taken his title of Captain America. Sam gets involved in an international crisis after meeting with the newly elected U.S. President, Thaddeus Ross. To prevent global chaos, he must uncover the truth behind a sinister plot before the mastermind’s plans destroy the world forever.
