Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Jenny Robbins are said to be executive producing Amazon’s upcoming series. The show in question is inspired by Claudia Lux’s novel Sign Here. Variety adds that Waller-Bridge and Robbins will be using their Wells Street Films production house for this significant project. They also mention that Phoebe’s contact with Amazon was recently renewed.
The actress is known for her roles in a comedy series called Fleabag. Additionally, she’s made an appearance in Solo: A Star Wars Story and will make another in the upcoming movie Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, where she’ll play Helena, Indiana Jones’ goddaughter.
Sign Here, according to the author, is “a darkly humorous, utterly gripping debut novel about a guy who works in Hell (literally). Peyote Trip has a pretty good gig in the deals department on the fifth floor of Hell. Sure, none of the pens work, the coffee machine has been out of order for a century, and the only drink on offer is Jägermeister, but it’s still Hell and after waiting a millennium he comes up with a plan that might just change his life (and death) forever.”
Nothing else is known about the series yet, but you can bet on TFP to provide more information soon!
