Fargo and The White Lotus star Lukas Cage is being added to the cast for the horror film Smile 2. This movie is the predecessor to Paramount’s Smile.
As per the synopsis, Smile is about “Dr. Rose Cotter who starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can’t explain after witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient.”
It continues: “As an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, Rose must confront her troubling past to survive and escape her horrifying new reality.”
Smile stars Kyle Gallner, Caitlin Stasey, Kal Penn, and Judy Reyes. Additionally, the horror flick is the feature-length directorial debut of Parker Finn. In the box office, Smile amassed $217 million.
Smile 2 will premiere in theaters on Oct. 18, 2024.
