A special legacy featurette for Disney’s Snow White, the live-action musical reimagining of the 1937 classic animation film, has surfaced. The short clip contains interviews with the cast and filmmakers, behind-the-scenes footage, and footage from the original Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs movie.
The new Snow White film reimagines the 1937 classic as a live-action musical. It invites audiences to rediscover the timeless story, featuring iconic characters like Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy. This movie is part of Disney’s growing collection of live-action adaptations, which includes upcoming titles like Lilo & Stitch and Bambi, to name a few.
Directed by Marc Webb, the movie features original songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, a score by Jeff Morrow, and a star-studded cast including Rachel Zegler as Snow White, Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen, Andrew Burnap as Jonathan, Tituss Burgess as Bashful, Martin Klebba as Grumpy, Jason Kravits as Sneezy, George Salazar as Happy, Jeremy Swift as Doc, and Andrew Grotelueschen as Sleepy.
Webb expressed how excited he was to pay homage to the original film while bringing the story to life in an innovative way.

“I am so excited for audiences and fans around the world to see this sneak peek and to revisit the magical world of Snow White,” Webb expressed. “Our goal has always been to honor the original animated film, and we are extremely grateful to the team of amazing artists – from puppeteers to voice actors and motion capture technicians – for bringing these magical, charming characters to life in such a unique way.”
The featurette comes two months after an exclusive clip of Zegler performing “Waiting on a Wish,” an original song from the animated film. The Snow White franchise takes admiration from the 1812 German fairy tale written by The Brothers Grimm.
