The Superman cast had some fun behind the scenes with a hilarious “bald off” challenge. The contest was held by director James Gunn and James Carrigan, who plays Metamorpho in the upcoming superhero film. The actor who put on the most convincing brave face was in the ranking to land a major role in the sequel. In the video, David Corenswet, who plays Superman, Rachel Brosnahan, who plays Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult, who plays Lex Luthor, were seen giving “bald” makeovers to their co-stars Beck Bennett, who plays Steve Lombard, Nathan Fillion, who plays Guy Gardner, and Skyler Gisondo, who plays Jimmy Olsen. The remaining two who didn’t win were jokingly told they’d be “kicked out of the DCU forever.”
The cast also includes Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, and more.
According to the official synopsis, this is the first DC Studios movie in the new DC Universe. Gunn brings his signature mix of action, humor, and heart to the story, presenting a Superman who believes deeply in human goodness.
