In the new Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, a scene from the trailer has been released and it highlights the aftermath of Caesar’s legacy. Overall, the clip depicts Proximis Caesar establishing dominance and keeping apes in line. The tone of Proximus was very stern and weary. Nonetheless, this film is supposed to be 300 years after Caesar Reign, resulting in him being praised as a noble figure. As the ape dominance continues, a young ape will question the past and find motivation to find balance between ape and humans.
While stories of Caesar are being told, more apes will become interested in understanding how an ape defines the odds and pushes the new ape society. As time progresses, each new leader has their own set of rules while maintaining the ape laws that were put in place by Ceasar. All-in-all, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is the beginning of something big and the start of a new legacy.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes stars William H. Macy, Owen Teague, Freya Allen, Dichen Lachman, Peter Macon, and more. The script will be penned by Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver.
