Dune star Timothée Chalamet has teased some major changes that have been added to Dune: Part Three. Set 15 to 20 years in the future, the third installment sees Chalamet’s Paul Atreides as an older character who has built a leadership style unlike others. He told GameRadar+, “Without giving too much away about Dune: Part Three, but I am playing older. And also someone who’s been impacted by years of leadership and carries that weight. It’s different.”
Additionally, the actor admitted back in November that he had finished his last scene on set in November. The production for Dune: Part Three finished in July.

Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, and Jason Momoa, are all reprising their roles from the first two movies. Denis Villeneuve also returns as director, continuing the vision he began with the franchise. In the last film, Chani, played by Zendaya, left Paul after he led the Fremen into war. The new movie will take inspiration from Frank Hubert‘s 1968 novel and second book in the Dune series.
