Robert Pattinson and Zendaya get cold feet once it’s time to say “I do” in their new movie, The Drama. The movie is about a happily engaged couple who have second thoughts after their upcoming nuptials are jeopardized. The trailer introduces Zendaya’s Emma Harwood, a powerhouse at a publishing house, and Pattinson’s Charlie Thompson, a British museum director, who meet with a professional wedding photographer. Although they seem lovey-dovey on the surface, their responses to certain questions leave uncertainty about how much they truly adore each other. After the cameraman asks them both to name a few things they like about each other, they exchange kind words. However, the last bits of the footage feel as if something is off in their relationship.
A24’s The Drama is helmed by writer-director Kristoffer Borgli’s script and also stars Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, and Hailey Gates. It’s produced by Ari Aster, Lars Knudsen, and Tyler Campellone.
