Travis Scott announced that Jackboys 2, the follow-up to his 2019 Cactus Jack compilation, will officially release this Sunday, July 13.
He shared the news on Instagram late Thursday (July 10), posting the album cover with the caption: “JB2 OUT EVERY WHERE 7 13 SPEAKERS AND SCREAMS AT MAX VOLUME.”
Scott released a lead single from the project on Tuesday called “2000 Excursion.” which dropped Tuesday (July 8) along with an action-packed music video on YouTube. The track features Don Toliver and Sheck Wes, with a beat by Cardo and a sample from Ye’s “Power.” In the video, Travis and his squad race through Texas in flashy cars and even hit a Formula 1 track.

Jackboys 2 follows the success of the first Jackboys album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and included hits like “Out West” with Young Thug and “Gatti” featuring Pop Smoke. The 2019 project sold 154,000 units in its first week, thanks in part to merch bundles from the Cactus Jack store.
To build hype, Scott has been sending out JACKBOYS-branded Lamborghini SUVs to artists rumored to appear on the project, including GloRilla, Tyla, Vybz Kartel, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, and Waka Flocka Flame. the official features haven’t been confirmed.

Fans can also grab exclusive Jackboys 2 merch now on Scott’s website, including CDs, vinyl with alternate covers, and new apparel.
The new album will feature 17 tracks and is hosted by Houston rap legend Bun B. This release adds to Scott’s big year, which already includes headlining Coachella and winning the I Am Hip Hop Award at the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards.
