Box office predictions say Zootopia 2 will be the 2nd-highest-grossing Disney animated film. According to Deadline, Zootopia 2 earned $10.2 million on Tuesday alone during its preview day. Moana 2 was the previous film to hold the highest-earning rank during a preview day, racking in $13.8 million. In all of history, however, The Incredibles 2 holds the title of highest opening preview. During its Thursday premiere, it made $18.5 million.
Early predictions said that Zootopia 2 was going to earn $125 million in its first week, but reports are now saying that it could make more. As of recently, it’ll potentially receive around $270 million.

“After cracking the biggest case in Zootopia’s history, rookie cops Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde find their partnership isn’t as solid as they thought when Chief Bogo orders them to join the Partners in Crisis counseling program,” the logline reads. “But it doesn’t take long for their partnership to be put to the ultimate test when they find themselves on the twisting trail of a mystery tied to the arrival of a venomous snake in the animal metropolis.”
