The Hollywood Reporter has unveiled that Lovecraft Country star Jamie Chung and NOS4A2′s lead, Oscar Wahlberg, are enlisted to play their previous roles in Showtime’s upcoming Dexter revival. They’ll be joined by previously star leads like Clancy Brown, Julia Jones, Michael Cyril Creighton, Alano Miller, Johnny Sequoyah, Jack Alcott, and of course the titular serial killer who Michael C. Hall plays.
The rendition of Dexter finds Dexter Morgan disappearing amidst Hurricane Laura. We then get to explore his new life while in Miami.
Chung will play as a well-known podcaster from Los Angeles named Molly. Walhberg will play as Zach, the captain of the Iron Lake High School wrestling team.
The production for Dexter is assumed to start in the fall of 2021.
