Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will drop on June 9, 2023, instead of June 2, 2022. This movie serves as the seventh edition of Transformers. Unfortunately, the delay comes right after the movie’s crew wrapped up production.
The film stars Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will also see the return of characters Bumblebee and Autobot Mirage, along with the introduction of Scourge, Arcee, Nightbird, Air-Razor, Rhinox, and Optimus Primal. Ron Perlman will voice the latter.
The movie’s synopsis reads:
“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts takes audiences on a ’90s globetrotting adventure and introduces the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons to the existing battle on Earth between Autobots and Decepticons. Set to take place in New York City and Peru, the new live-action film will follow Optimus Prime in G1 robot form in the ’90s as he is new to Earth.”
