After taking what seems like a social media break, Jay-Z hopped back onto Twitter on Sunday. Questlove sparked the rap mogul’s interest to go back onto the site. First, he praised Jay-Z for creating his 1997 sophomore album, In My Lifetime, Vol 1. Then, he added that the mixed opinions on his song “Sunshine.
“Our main argument is his hate for Vol 1. He’s embarrassed for trying to make a monster and not putting numbers up. But ALOT of this lp contains his best moments. Fight me @sc.”
Eight hours later, Jay-Z hopped on Twitter to respond to Questlove. He agreed with Questlove but added that he could’ve improved the project.
“Agreed. More so, I know what could have been, so it haunts me…streets is watching was the first song made !” Jay-Z said.
