Kanye West has delivered his highly-anticipated album Donda 2 through a different platform. Instead of making the LP available on Apple Music or Spotify, he put it on his Stem Player device. This device allows listeners to isolate drum, vocal, and instrumental patterns. Going for $200, the Stem Player allows himself and other artists to make more money than cents per stream. One musician who’s very much interested in putting his music on the gadget is Rich The Kid.
Over the weekend, Kid hinted at his collaboration with West’s device on Instagram. He posted a video of himself using the Stem Player, which played an unreleased song that features West. The “Red” rapper also asked fans through the post if he should drop the single on Stem Player.
“Should I drop me and @kanyewest new song on the stem player?!?” he wrote.
