In the new trailer, posted to the official Morbius Twitter account and reposted below, we see Leto’s character struggle tremendously with the duality this illness has created inside of him that appears to be the ultimate struggle between good and evil, leaving Leto and his peers to question what will come of him. It certainly appears intriguing on the surface, and fans can find out for themselves when Morbius hits theaters on April 1st.
Leto is certainly no stranger to unique roles, take for example his role in 2000’s Requiem for a Dream where suffered from the throes of drug addiction. That film has emerged as a cult-classic in recent years, and Leto has emerged as a fan-favorite amongst moviegoers for the myriad of roles he is willing to undertake. Morbius seems to fit right in line with that, and fans can find out how Leto fares in the new project when it premieres this April.
