Future is still keeping the momentum high for his nine-month-old album, I Never Liked You. Recently the renowned “toxic king” linked up with VEVO to do a live performance of some songs from the project.
This isn’t the first time Future and the music giant have collaborated. In 2019, the rapper did an official live performance of “Call The Crooner” and “Promise U That.” He also gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at his Drake and Tems-featured track, “WAIT FOR U.”
JP Evangelista, VEVO’s SVP of Content, Programming, and Marketing said:
“We’ve been looking forward to collaborating with Future again since we last worked together back in 2019. He’s an icon in every sense of the word, from his fashion to his visuals to his lyrics, and we were so thrilled to have the opportunity to harness that energy into these incredible performances.”
She continues,
“It’s important for an artist to be fully present and involved with our Official Live Performances, and Future was incredibly intentional, prepared with a clear creative vision that he came ready to translate onto the screen for his fans. We’re so excited to finally be able to share these with everyone!”
This time Future oversaw the creative direction of his live performances. His customized set is meant to “invoke feelings of vulnerability, infiniteness, and intrigue.”
