Smile is giving other movies on the big screen a run for their money!
According to Deadline, the Paramount horror film has surpassed the $200M mark globally. Following its 6-week release, Smile accumulated $99.1 domestically and $103.8 from the international box office. These amounts equate to $202.9M. Despite minor bumps with its views, Smile peaked by 32% last month. The movie debuted in late September and is considered the second-best hold ever (-22%) for an R-rated horror movie domestically.
Starring Sosie Bacon, Jessie T. Usher, Kyle Gallner, Robin Weigert, Caitlin Stasey, Kal Penn, and Rob Morgan, Smile is the biggest horror movie of 2022 in 43 markets, including the UK, Germany, France, Austria, Spain, and Australia. Smile is also Paramount’s biggest horror movie in 27 markets, including Germany, France, Austria, Scandinavia, Israel, Poland, and Mexico.
