The first Knives Out centered around a wealthy family with some deep secrets. It starts with the death of the richest family member. In turn, they call Detective Benoit Blanc Daniel’s character to investigate the murder. Then, the murder mystery begins.
Detective Benoit must interview family and staff alike until he gets the answers he needs. Yet one question remains: Can you figure the mystery out before the detective? If you want to watch the first Knives Out you’ll have to rent or buy the movie, but it is worth it.
The sequel, Knives Out The Glass Onion is a whole new mystery with all twists and turns. For starters, there’s a new cast featuring Janelle Monae, Dave Bautista, Leslie Odom Jr., Sereana Williams and so much more. Secondly, the plot follows Janelle’s character as her sister is murdered. These factors alone make Knives Out The Glass Onion a great follow up.
The Glass Onion is currently No. 1 on Netflix, pulling in a whopping 82.1 million hours. Netflix estimates 35 million households watched the movie. Its release date was on December 23, 2022.
