On Wednesday, April 13th, 2023, The Feature Presentation hosted another Dinner & A Movie with DJ Suss One for the highly anticipated horror film “The Pope’s Exorcist” featuring Russell Crowe as Father Gabriel Amorth alongside actress Alex Essoe as Julia, Peter DeSouza -Feighoney as Henry. Directed by Julius Avery, Inspired by the true story of Father Gabriele Amorth, Chief Exorcist of the Vatican, The Pope’s Exorcist follows Amorth as he investigates a young boy’s terrifying possession and ends up uncovering a conspiracy that is centuries-old that the Vatican has desperately tried to keep hidden.
The night began with a private pre-movie mixer located on the top floor of the famed Ipic theatre. DJ Suss One and his guests could be found at the Tuck Room’s bar while others could be seen on the red carpet flicking it up. After the one-hour mixer, guests were escorted to their VIP assigned seats and met with a customized dinner menu along with an array of sweet treats such as popcorn, sodah, and candy.
DJ Suss One never falls short with his exclusive events or his movie choices. Suss never shies away from a good horror flick therefore “The Pope’s Exorcist” was his top choice to share with the audience. As the theater lights dimmed and the movie credits rolled, many of his guests could be seen squirming in their seats in anticipation.
DJ Suss One continues to create monumental moments such as Dinner & A Movie by bringing celebrities, socialites, and influencers together to enjoy a night out amongst peers. As the night came to a close and the lights brightened, DJ Suss One thanked his guests for attending and directed them back to the red carpet for group photos.
Celebrity guests such as female rapper Lola Brooke, VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Chrissy Monroe and Ms. Moe Money, R&B singers Emanny, Tina Yao, and Chris Weaver, Recording Artist Chanti McCoy, Rapper Trey Budden, Fashion Designer and Restaurateur Chris Collie, Celebrity Stylists Pilar Scratch and Looks By Lunden were all in attendance and could be found mingling throughout the venue.
