Socavivor, one of the top carnival brands, took over Miami this past Columbus Day Weekend. For a full five days from October 5th to October 9th, festival attendees immersed into five days full of excitement, with a list of unforgettable events to experience on each day.
Each event being more unforgettable than the next. Socavivior designed a lineup up all night and dancing all weekend. The event kicking off the electric weekend being “ Lyrikal presents Happy Place”. This highly sought-after Soca artist left her mark on the audience through her vibrant performance, and gave concert goers a taste of what was yet to come. For a second day of excited, concert goers were met with a star studded line up of some of the best talent in Soca . Acts that took the stage include top talent such as Bunji Garlin, Kai, Machel Montano, NailahBlackman and Skinny Fabulous. Later that night Socavivor Miami continued the festivities by celebrating “International Flag Night”. An event used to showcase diversity and unity within the Caribbean. Partygoers were able to celebrate their heritage and represent their countries through food, flags and music, in a shared celebration of Caribbean culture.
The celebration continued for a third day, with their “Jabba Strikes Back” event. This exciting event aims to bring people from different walks of life and different cultures, together through a shared love of music. The event provided an atmosphere of renowned DJs, celebrities, music lovers, talented artist and a night of speakers filled with Soca, reggae, hip-hop and dancehall.
Socavivor Miami wrapped up the last day of festivities with “Shhh! Miami”, a widely anticipated event that partygoers eagerly wait for each year during the Miami Carnival weekend. For the last night of the festival attendees were able to attend a premiere indoor/outdoor event. Where there were able to collectively engage in the celebration of music and life, through surprise performances and exhilarating entertainment. Providing attendees with an unforgettable musical experience in Miami that they will have to wait until next year to relive again.
