As many Avatar fans are awaiting for the fourth installment of the franchise, Zoe Saldana speaks about the future of the film and what to expect. While speaking to Deadline, the actress was asked about the movie’s progression. But more importantly if she has returned to the movie franchise’s shooting scene in Manhattan Beach, California. Saldana said although the Avatar team hasn’t stepped foot there yet, they would soon.
“We will,” she replied.
Zoe Saldana then expressed how shooting in this location made her feel.
“Being in Pandora has also been a very powerful and life-changing milestone in my life. I will never take that for granted.”
Later a reporter inquired about the “evil volcano people” in the forthcoming sequels. Given her response, it looks like there will be new characters this time around.
“Oh, yes. Brace yourselves,” she replied. “And new characters, also. New actors.”
Aside from this, Zoe Saldana didn’t speak much on the film due to most of the project being unfinished. Fans presume the new Avatar will be a classic either way.
Other details about Avatar 4 have yet to be revealed. However, creator James Cameron did reveal to People Magazine that the new movie will feature a time jump.
