The Conjuring 4 has a new release date.
As per Coming Soon, the last film in The Conjuring franchise will premiere in theaters on September 5, 2025. Although the plot for The Conjuring 4 hasn’t been revealed, Michael Chaves will direct it. He’s known for his work in 2021’s The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, 2019’s The Curse of La Llorona, and 2023’s The Nun II. Meanwhile, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are expected to reprise their roles as Ed and Lorrain Warren.
Filming for The Conjuring 4 began in October of 2022. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who wrote scripts for The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It and the second film, is also writing this one. The first film of The Conjuring series grossed $319.5 million against a $20 million budget of $20 million. Following its release, the media deemed it the most profitable horror film ever, a testament to the franchise’s success and the audience’s support.
